Acceptable Use Policy

This policy forms part of the Terms of Use and the Venue Terms. It exists to protect the people who use BookrGo, the venues and the Service itself.

1. Automated access and data extraction

Without our prior written authorisation, it is prohibited to:

• Access the Service, its website, its app or its API by means of robots, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, automated browsers, scripts or any other automated means, or to extract, copy or collect its content or data (venue listings, prices, opening hours, availability, reviews, photos, user profiles, results or rankings), whatever the technique.
• Use the content or data of the Service to create, feed or improve databases, directories, comparison sites, aggregators or any product or service that competes with or replaces BookrGo.
• Use the content of the Service to train, fine-tune or evaluate artificial intelligence or machine learning models, or for text and data mining. BookrGo expressly reserves this use under article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790.
• Frame, mirror or reproduce the Service or parts of it on another site.
• Collect personal data of other users (names, email addresses, phone numbers) by any means.

The following are permitted by way of exception: the agents expressly allowed by our robots.txt, only on the paths and for the purposes stated there and for as long as that authorisation remains in place; and the use of our public API with a valid key and within its limits and conditions. 2. Security and integrity of the Service

• Do not attempt to circumvent, disable or interfere with the Service's security, authentication, rate-limiting, verification or bot-protection measures, or access areas, accounts or data you are not permitted to access.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software of the Service, except to the extent the law expressly permits it without the possibility of contractual exclusion.
• Do not send viruses or malicious code, or carry out load, stress or penetration tests without authorisation.
• Do not generate a volume of requests that places a disproportionate load on our infrastructure.

3. Accounts and impersonation

• Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent limits, penalties or suspensions, or fake or automated accounts.
• Do not impersonate another person, a venue or BookrGo, or claim a relationship with a venue that you do not have.
• Do not claim the listing of a venue you do not manage.

4. Bookings and payments

• Do not resell bookings or places, or book to block availability or speculatively.
• Do not use payment methods that do not belong to you or open chargebacks in bad faith.
• Do not manipulate prices, promotions, discount codes or the rewards system.

5. Content and conduct

Do not publish or send content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, violent, hateful, harassing or that infringes the privacy or image of others.
• Infringes third-party intellectual or industrial property rights.
• Is unsolicited advertising, spam or commercial communications without consent.
• Is a fake or paid review, a review written by the venue itself or by its competitors, or one that does not reflect a real experience.
• Manipulates the results of matches, tournaments or the ranking.

6. What happens in the event of a breach

Depending on the seriousness, we may remove content, technically block access (by IP address, device or account), restrict features, suspend or close accounts and keep the necessary records. In addition, BookrGo may bring the appropriate legal actions, including those relating to intellectual property, unfair competition and the protection of its database, and claim the damage and costs caused.

7. If you find a vulnerability

If you discover a security flaw, write to us at [email protected] with the details before making it public and give us a reasonable period to fix it. If you act in good faith, without accessing more data than necessary to demonstrate it, without altering it and without degrading the Service, we will not take action against you for it.

8. How to report abuse

If you see content or conduct that breaches this policy, use the reporting options in the app or write to us at [email protected]. We review reports and act where appropriate.
