How to configure your club's notifications

Decide what your venue notifies about, through which channel, how far in advance and with what wording — in all three languages.

For: owner, manager

Which events you can notify about

From the Notifications section of your panel you can turn on or off, event by event: booking confirmation, reminder before playing, cancellation, a slot freeing up, tomorrow's class, a paid or failed membership fee, an expiring bonus, birthdays and inactivity. Each one is switched on or off separately.

Which channel each notification uses

Today the free channels are in-app notification and email. SMS and WhatsApp exist in the catalogue but are announced as switched off: they have a per-message cost that isn't priced per country yet, so they can't be turned on until that price exists.

Consent is requested per channel, and isn't inherited between them: a player accepting email notifications doesn't automatically switch on notifications on another channel.

Advance notice and quiet hours

For the reminder before playing, you decide how far in advance it's sent (for example, 2 hours before). If you also set quiet hours (for example, don't disturb between 10pm and 8am), a notification that would fall inside that window is delayed until it ends — never dropped.

The wording, in three languages

You write the copy for each template yourself, in Spanish, English and French. It's not an automatic translation: each language has its own text, because whoever runs the venue knows best how to talk to their players.

The outbox

Everything that has been sent (or attempted) is recorded in the outbox, with its status: delivered, pending, or not sent with the reason (for example, no consent for that channel, or still waiting inside quiet hours). It's the first place to check if a player says a notification never reached them.
