How to switch on online payments with Stripe

Connect your Stripe account to charge bookings, deposits and classes online. The player's money goes straight to your account.

For: owner, manager

Who receives the player's money

BookrGo uses Stripe Connect in Express mode with direct charges. That means when a player pays for a booking, a deposit or a class, the money lands directly in your Stripe account — it never passes through BookrGo's account. Your venue is the merchant of record for the player.

What BookrGo charges

BookrGo keeps a small commission per charge (not per booking: if one booking is split into several charges, each charge pays its own commission). The exact amount, and whether it's currently active or suspended, is shown in the panel under Monetisation → Catalogue and pricing. While the current launch promotion is running, that commission can be zero for the months the offer states.

How to activate it

  1. Open your manager panel and go to your venue's payments section.
  2. Tap "Connect with Stripe". This starts Stripe's own onboarding flow (Express): business details, bank account and identity verification.
  3. Once Stripe confirms the account, your venue can start charging online: court bookings, deposits and classes, depending on what you enable.
  4. If your Stripe account has a pending requirement (identity verification, an extra document), the panel flags it and online payments pause until it's resolved — nothing gets charged halfway.

What happens if I don't activate it

Without a connected Stripe account, your venue still works as a directory listing: it can be viewed, claimed and found in search, but bookings can't be paid online through BookrGo. That's free, with no deadline.
