Manager guide: running the venue day to day
What the manager (delegate) can do, what they can't, and where to start each morning.
For: manager
What the manager is
The manager operates and configures the venue but does not touch the cash or hand out roles: no price changes, no finances and no team invitations. It is the role designed for whoever runs the day to day.
What you can do
- Calendar: book or register on behalf of someone else, move and cancel.
- Booking rules (notice, capacity, guests, cancellation) and spaces: create, edit, pause and delete.
- People: approve and register, households and the front-desk record. You can also migrate data from another program.
- Notices: change what is sent, through which channel, how far ahead and with what text.
- Tournaments and events of the venue, and your members' training (plans and cards).
- Municipal payments (if the venue is a town hall) and PDF/CSV reports: they belong to both administration and management.
What you do NOT see
Prices and deposits, Finance and Invoicing (only the payments card, without controls), the public page, integrations, the full export and the team (you can see it, not change it).
A typical morning
- Look at the day's calendar and bookings awaiting approval.
- If it rains, pause the affected space: the notice to members goes out on its own.
- Handle new sign-ups in People.
- Check the notices inbox in case something didn't go out.
If you need something you can't do
Ask the owner: they can grant you the administrator role.
